ESG & GREEN BUILD STRATEGY
APC’s ESG strategy is Comprehensive, Core of which is the Whole-Life Cycle Carbon Assessment for Sustainability Certification Pathways on IFC EDGE and proactive involvement in Adaptive Re-use Project Developments

ADAPTIVE RE-USE DEVELOPMENTS
The Built Environment is purported to be responsible for circa 42% of Global Green House Gas (GHG) emissions, with Operational Carbon emissions accounting for 27% of (GHG) and Embodied carbon emissions at 15% of (GHG), it becomes imperative to contemplate; what existing un-utilized or under-utilized buildings could be repurposed, remodeled or adaptively re-used before new builds are considered, before the demolition of an existing building makes way for the a new build, with the ultimate mission to inhibit embodied carbon emissions associated with new builds, and limiting operational carbon emissions by the update of existing Engineering services for efficiency, contributing to overall reduced energy intensity of Buildings.
APC’s adaptive re-use procedures are exhaustive, from concept to delivery; Structural Integrity assessments, Feasibility and Viability appraisals, Statutory and Regulatory Due- Diligence, Efficient design Management and implementation, Value Engineering, Costing, Asset Management Plans Etc..
